In late 2007 five of Ireland’s most seasoned musicians came together to create Irelands premiere Rolling Stones Tribute band. By emulating the sound, personalities and the image of the Stones at their peak, during the 1970s, this band delivers a superior tribute show. Formerly known as “Hotlicks”, the band in its current incarnation as The Irish Rolling Stones is well known on the pub scene and festival circuit throughout Ireland.  More 

The band started performing late December 2007 under the name of "The Stoned Angels" (The name came from the fact that that first performance in the Eckington Rolling Stones Festival, was performed in a local venue called The Angel Hotel). The second gig they performed was on a Sunday night at "The Diamond" in Sutton in Ashfield, a Rock Tribute Venue.
