Paddy Mangan Paddy has always had a passion for Irish Rebel and Ballad music and has followed bands like The Wolfe Tones,Dublin City Ramblers, The Irish Brigade for many year’s, He would be hugely influenced by his late Mother Mary Mangan’s singing, and also his idol, fellow kildare man Christy Moore both thru his singing and song writing. Paddy and Mick came up with the idea of forming a band back in 2008 having gotten to know each other thru Micks radio show ‘SIN È’ on Dublin city FM since the late 90’s. Paddy plays Mandolin, Banjo and sings but also writes and co writes for The Druids.

Mick O'Brien A wexford native with Irish music song and stories in his veins . His interest in Irish folk music was sparked and fostered in his hometown of Ballycanew . Over the past 20 years he has traveled to world with bands like City Fair , The Shamrockers and of course The Druids. Mick has been described as one of Ireland’s finest front men .he is a historian and a shanakee

Fran O'Mara Fran came to Irish folk music through the route of DJing which he done for 15 years. His love of the music led him to setting up and successfully touring his band Duchas . Having played all over Ireland and playing they same bill as The Druids on many occasions . It is not surprise that he would then become a full time member. His style of playing coupled with his passion sets him apart

Sean Kennedy Sean started playing bass 10 years ago and has being involved in the music scene in the kildare area ever since .Sean has played in some of the most popular rock cover bands around the county and has been playing for the past 7 years in the band (GIBBERISH) and due to work commitments with his band mates they decided to part ways.

We had heard Sean playing bass on many occasions and we knew that his  style of playing and great stage presence was what we were looking so he joined us in 2014.
